Description

:bulletblue: Name: Edward Guerrero (Last name roughly translated into Warrior)

:bulletyellow: Species: Swampert

:bulletblue: Personality: +Friendly +Responsible +Intelligent (in book knowledge) +Fun loving // -Easily panicked -hermit (when reading book series) -Emotionally weak

:bulletyellow: Gender: Male

:bulletblue: Birthday: October 2nd (He's 23~)

:bulletyellow: History: Ed grew up in a house filled with men. His father and 3 older brothers were rough and tough. The hard working, hard hitting, and (in his fathers case) hard drinking. When Ed was born, he was considered a runt. Built from birth smaller than his siblings, he was picked on and made fun of due to his excelling in intellect where his brothers strived physically. Still, he was no deterred. His mother took him under her and pampered him and gave him a place to vent when his brothers would pick on him. His father thought he'd grow up weak due to him relying on his mom and never once stopped the elder brothers from their picking. He even encouraged it sometimes.

Ed, after so many years, grew tired of his family, mainly his father and siblings, demeaning him in such a manner. So what if he wasn't all that strong? So what if he didn't do all the rough and rowdy things? That didn't make him any less than his brothers!!! In his senior year of high school, he began to put money off to the side with odd jobs he'd work in his free time and built a plan. He let his mother in on it. Though distraught, she was on board. Always there to cheer him on.

Coming up on the end of his last year in school, his father tried to force him into the industry, (construction), as his dad had did to him. Saying it'd make a man out of him yet. With a determination his father had never seen before, Ed lashed out at him.

"Screw you!!" The words froze the elder swampert in his tracks. Never had he heard his son take such a tone with him. Seeing his dad wasn't going to respond, Ed spoke loud and with a fire to his voice.

"I don't care about you damned construction company or your one sided ideals of what a 'man' is. You let those deranged things known as your sons beat me up and pick on me for years without even the slightest iota of concern!" His father seemed to shrink a bit at this. He took note how Ed didn't call them his 'brothers'.

"Besides I've already planned on moving out." This snapped his dad out of his stupor.

"Wha....What? When!?"

"When? Well since I started senior year father. I worked all those jobs for a reason. I was collecting money for the chance to move away and be on my own." The older man eyes widened at his son's words.

His boy.

His son. He was hell bent on leaving. Leaving them.

"Y-you...you can't...You can't just leave!!"

"Yes, actually I can," he said with a tone of finality. Anger surged into his father's eyes.

"I said you can't!! I am your father!! You WILL listen!!"

"I AM leaving! You can't stop me. I'm 18. Legally an adult. I can make my own decisions. The same way I have since the beginning of this year."

Ed turned and headed towards the door. He had had enough of this. He was leaving. He had made his choice. Not feeling that this was done, his father reached out and grabbed him. "Oh no you do-!!?!"

It happened faster than he had thought. No. It wasn't fast at all. He'd seen it coming, but it was so...shocking that he had froze until impact. He didn't register it until he heard the front door slam and the steely taste of blood touched his tongue.

Ed had struck him. Punching him square in the jaw.

A rage built up in him again, but it lasted only for a moment before it was replaced with a mixture of emotions. Things he didn't know were there until that moment. His youngest. The weak link of his family. The black mareep of his children...he had shown a passion he'd never seen in him before. A fire that burned hotter than a charizards tail. A bitter smile worked its way onto his lips.

He was ashamed of himself...

...but he was also so proud of Ed...

After their butting of heads, Ed had stayed with a friend for a few days until it was time for him to return to his home. He had to get his things to move of course. Entering the home, he expected to be hit back or screamed at by his dad, but what he got was the man sitting at the table with a calm face. He saw his boy and began to speak to him. Telling him he was sorry for all he'd done and telling Ed he was proud of who he had become.

Ed was left speechless. He could only awkwardly thank his dad before going to pack up.

A few stray tears he never noticed running down his cheeks as he did so.

He left with a hug to his mother, some last minute insults from his brothers...and a firm hand shake from his father.

He turned and set off to his future.

:bulletblue: Additional info: Ed has a tattoo of a sun on his left shoulder.

:bulletyellow: Trivia: Ed's accent is very well hidden until he's angry, excited, or scared. He will spew spanish gibberish until he calms.

He keeps a secret collection of Harry Potter books in his room. They were his first 'big boy' books as his mother put it and he kept them always as mementos.

He doesn't wear shoes. At all.

He enjoys sour foods.

Ed never attended college, though he is well versed in all base subjects.

Since arriving at the coast, he's been having a few new....feelings. He doesn't know how to describe them, but they....'confuse' him greatly.
